Young says Persad-Bissessar in a state of complete irrelevance

National Security Minister Stuart Young has responded to Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar…somewhat, regarding an exemption he provided to his ministry’s permanent secretary.

He simply says he is not entertaining her.

Young said, “Mrs Persad-Bissessar has sadly worked herself into a state of complete irrelevance and has been grasping at straws for a long time now.

At a virtual UNC meeting on Monday, Persad-Bissessar claimed Young’s permanent secretary went to the US on December 19 and returned on December 30.

Young said “She is the same individual who told the country and by extension the world, that she would build a dome and rely on sunlight as responses to the covid19 pandemic. He concluded, “I will not facilitate her sad desperation to be relevant by responding to her.”
