Young: Opposition members’ name included in reports of illicit activities

Minister of National Security, Stuart Young has stated that he’s seen some of the names of opposition members in reports of illicit activity recently.

He was speaking during the Standing Finance Committee Meeting of Parliament on Tuesday.

After MP for Naparima, Rodney Charles questioned the work being done to curtail gang activity in Trinidad and Tobago, Minister Young assured that the government still received frequent and reputable information of gang-related activity which have led to arrests and charges being laid.

He added that there were familiar names that were also being pointed out.
