Young men avoiding vaccine over erection fears says Health Minister

The percentage of the public that has been vaccinated continues to edge towards 50 percent.

Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh gave the figures as he responded to a question by opposition Senator Jearlean John at Wednesday’s senate sitting.

By Minister Deyalsingh’s figures, approximately 46 percent of the population is now fully vaccinated.

Minister Deyalsingh also revealed that men between the age of 20 and 49 appear to be one of the most vaccine hesitant demographics.

He explained what he believed to be fueling the hesistancy.
