Mayaro police are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a young doctor, whose body was found in his parked car on Wednesday.
Residents of Bon Espoire Road, Mayaro, notified police that a silver-coloured Honda City, registration PDY 3999, was parked on their street since 5 pm on Tuesday.
Officers of the Emergency Response Patrol unit responded around 11 am yesterday, and found the vehicle parked in the same location.
On further investigation, they found the lifeless body of a man, later identified as that of Dr Amrit Ramdass of Orchard Gardens, Chaguanas inside.
Police said several syringes and needles, labelled Potassium Choloride were found on the front passenger seat.
