Young acting as Attorney General

Energy Minister Stuart Young, has been appointed to act as Attorney General, in the absence of Reginald Armour, who is out of the country from today, December 27th.

The Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs advised of Armour’s planned absence and Young’s acting appointment.

Young will act as Attorney General in addition to his regular duties as Energy Minister and a Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Minister has acted as Attorney General on previous occasions, including June this year while Armour was out of the jurisdiction on official business.

The advisory did not indicate when the Attorney General would be back in the country.
