Wrecking To Resume In Port Of Spain

Wrecking will soon return to Port of Spain.

It is already in effect in the southern borough of San Fernando.

Coordinator of the Road Safety Unit of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Brent Batson, urged drivers to comply with the various traffic regulations.

Speaking during the Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show on Thursday, Officer Batson said drivers who also violate traffic rules can be penalised via the display of tickets on the windscreen.

Mr Batson said obeying safety rules will go a long way in preserving lives adding some of the violations police officers encounter include persons failing to put on seat belt, speeding, the use of mobile phones while driving and disregarding traffic signs.
