The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has lost another officer to COVID-19.
WPC Vernessa Stoute, who was attached to the Moruga Police Station, succumbed to the virus on Tuesday after fighting for several weeks.
Stoute, 47, died at hospital.
She was a mother of three and grandmother of one.
Relatives said she had no known ailments prior to contracting the virus.
