A family of four, from Woodland are now homeless after an early morning fire.
In a Newsday report, Errol Sookhansingh, 52, said no one was at home when the gutted their home.
Sookhansingh also said neighbours could not salvage anything as the flames spread quickly.
Sookhansingh said the fire broke out just after 7am on Saturday, while on his way to the Penal market, when he received a phone call that his home, located at La Fortune/Pluck Road was engulfed in flames.
He lived with his wife, Sumaria, and their two sons, Dominic, 17 who is is a form six student at Shiva Boys’ Hindu College in Penal and Nathan, 24.
