Woodford Cafe Director dies in accident by Grand Bazaar

Woodford Cafe Director dies after Grand Bazaar accident

According to several reports Martin Hatem, 52, was pronounced dead after an accident on the Uriah Butler Highway near Grand Bazaar on Monday afternoon.


Several reports indicate that Hatem, was driving his Kia Sportage SUV on the Southbound lane of the highway at around 2.30 pm when he lost control causing the car to flip.

Other motorist along the road saw the accident and called the police who went to the scene with a district medical officer who declared Hatem dead.

St Joseph police are continuing investigations.
Police said Hatem’s death brought the death toll to 27 for the year thus far compared to 24 for the same period last year.
