Police arrested four persons during an anti-crime exercise which was conducted in the Southern Division, Area East between the hours of 3 pm and 11 pm on Friday 27th August, 2021.
During the exercise several drug blocks and priority offenders were targeted in the Moruga area, which led to the arrest of the four suspects.
ASHTON WILLIAMS, 42, of Los Iros, Erin, was arrested and charged by PC Ramlochan for being in possession of 70 grams of cannabis.
DILLON SINANAN, 22, of La Ruffin Road, Moruga, was arrested and charged by PC Loutan for being in possession of 112 grams of cannabis.
APALONEA CEASAR, 37, of White Trace, St Mary’s, was arrested and charged by PC Toll for being in possession of 250 grams of cannabis.
While KEVON JAIRAM, 36, of Gran Chemin, Moruga, was arrested and charged by PC Mohammed for breach of the curfew, obscene language, and resisting arrest.
The exercise was coordinated by W/Snr Supt Lucia Winchester, ASP Ramdass and Insp Phillip. It was supervised by Sgt Charles and Cpl Phoolchan and included PC Toll, PC Loutan, PC Ramlochan and PC Mohammed.
