WhatsApp and IG have been restored after crashing

Both Instagram and WhatsApp are part of Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook, which is said to have 2.8 billion active users.

More than 125,000 people across the globe have reported issues accessing Instagram in the past 24 hours, according to Downdetector.

Facebook Messenger app also seemed to be affected with more than 5,500 reports.

However the social media apps have both been restored.
