Westshore hospital chairman reportedly robbed at his home; bandits make off with his Benz

The Chairman of Westshore Medical Private Hospital was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday morning at his Carenage home.

According to reports, around 2:25am, the victim was awakened by a loud noise and subsequently observed three masked men armed with firearms in his bedroom.

The suspects assaulted the 68-year-old victim and demanded money and valuables.

The victim complied and handed over an undisclosed sum of the U.S. currency, a Samsung Galaxy Note 20, a 65″ Samsung Smart TV, a 48″ Samsung Smart TV, and the keys to his black Mercedes Benz.
The suspects then fled the scene in the Mercedes Benz.

The vehicle was later recovered in the vicinity of the Family Planning Building, Henry Street Port of Spain.
