Over the weekend, the Met Office monitored two Tropical waves. One was said to pass over T&T early this morning, while the other is expected to pass on Wednesday with some lingering showers on Thursday.
In the meantime, the MET Office is predicting mostly fair conditions today which will become partly cloudy at first, then cloudy at times from late morning. This may be accompanied by light or moderate showers in a few areas. There is a 50-80% chance of a heavy shower or thunderstorm developing in a few areas during late morning to afternoon. Gusty winds or street and flash flooding is likely to occur in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
