WEATHER UPDATE: Sunny conditions with afternoon showers

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) says that today will remain predominantly sunny over most areas despite one or two early morning and afternoon showers in a few areas.

There is the 60% (medium) chance of an odd thunderstorm favouring northern and western areas of Trinidad during the early morning and afternoon periods. Tonight will be mostly settled. Street flooding and gusty winds are likely near heavy downpours/thunderstorms.
