A beauty queen has won the title of Mrs Sri Lanka just to wind up in the hospital with head wounds after Mrs World ripped off her crown in a snit to present it on the next in line.

The terrible in front of an audience scuffle broke out minutes subsequent to winning contender Pushpika De Silva was granted the title at a Colombo theater Sunday night, reports New York Post.

Mrs World Caroline Jurie, who is from Sri Lanka and was at the occasion, unexpectedly raged on the stage and got the mouthpiece, asserting De Silva was really separated and consequently excluded from holding the title.

“There is a rule that prevents women who have already been married and are divorced, so I am taking steps to make the crown go to second place,” Jurie told the stunned crowd.

She at that point ripped the gold crown off De Silva’s head and put it on the next in line, provoking tears and mayhem, outlets said.

De Silva must be hospitalized for head wounds from her crown being ripped off, in addition to injury, Time24 said, refering to a neighborhood newspape.

The contender later posted a photograph of herself in a medical clinic bed on her Facebook page, while denying she is separated.

“The pain of my skull when my crown was snatched from my head by the world married beauty queen, the pain I felt when I lost the crown …,” De Silva wrote.

“I say a true queen is not a woman who snatches another woman’s crown, but a woman who [helps straighten] another woman’s crown!!

“I know you are expecting my response to the unexpected incident that happened. Even though I have a lot to say, I will post only the essential things here,” De Silva said.

She recognized that she and her significant other live separated yet demanded, “I’m not a separated from lady.”

She has since been officially re-pronounced the victor, as indicated by Newsfirst.
