United National Congress election agent and senator Jayanti Lutchmedial is questioning why the police have called for a UNC representative to remove his campaign photos from his office during voting this morning.
She was speaking on behalf of the UNC candidate for Les Efforts West/La Romaine, Rishi Balramsingh, after police officers spoke to the representative warning that signs had to be removed from Balramsingh’s campaign office at Todd’s Street, San Fernando.
The polling station is at San Fernando West Secondary School.
Lutchmedial said the campaign office is outside the 100 yard stipulated distance.
