WASA, TTEC & TSTT ready for storm

Emergency plans for all public utility companies have been activated.

This is the assurance being given by Public Utilities Minister Marvin Gonsalves.

He said WASA is doing what it can to ensure the best service possible is provided during and after the passage of the adverse weather system.

He added that T&T has activated a central command centre and cancelled any vacation leave for field staff to ensure that there is an ample compliment of employees in the event of an emergency.

Minister Gonzales said TSTT’s communications network is also being examined to make any necessary changes to ensure continued service.
