WASA: Service interruption to Northwest Trinidad

The Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) wishes to advise its customers that there will be a service interruption to those who are served by the Valsayn A Booster stations today, Thursday 24th October, between the hours of 8:00:a.m-4:00p.m.

Affected areas include:

  • Along the Eastern Main Road from St. Joseph to Aranguez Main Road, San Juan including Champ Fleurs, Mt. Hope, Mt. Lambert and Petit Bourg
  • Lower and Upper Santa Cruz including: Homestead Gardens, Pax Vale, Pipiol Road, Sam Boucaud Gardens and environs

In a press release, WASA said the interruption has become necessary in order to undertake emergency mechanical repairs at the facility. Customers are advised that it may take 12 hours for the water supply to normalise to some areas after the station is restarted.
