WASA: Parts Of Morvant Without Water Untill Christmas Day

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of Morvant, served by the Lady Young Booster Station, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their regular pipe borne water supply that this is due to a burnt motor on the No.1 Unit at the facility.

Emergency repairs are currently underway and are expected to be completed by Saturday, December 25^th.

Areas affected include:

 Chinapoo Village

 Red Hill

 Coconut Drive

 Las Alturas

 2nd Caledonia

 Never Dirty

 Mon Repos

 Almond Court and environs

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
