A mechanical issue impacting operations at the Paramin Well #7 is cited as the reason for the disruption in the water supply to customers in the Paramin\Maraval area.
The Water and Sewerage Authority says emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Affected areas are Beau Pres Road, Morne Cyril, Unity Street, Fatima Trace, La Finette Road, Winter Gardens, Saut Deau Road, Paramin Hill and Le Platte Village.
Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of these works.
