Citizens must get value for money from the restructuring of the Water and Sewage Authority.
So says Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales.
Minister Gonzales made the comment during Wednesday’s sitting of the Standing Finance Committee.
Minister Gonzales told the committee at this time WASA is owed one billion dollars in outstanding money from various customers.
Mr. Gonzales said the utility is also seeking to improve its revenue position.
From the millions invested by the government into WASA Minister Gonzales said the population should be getting an improved water supply on a continuous basis.
