The Water and Sewage Authority has confirmed an incident that occurred where shots were fired at one of its employees.
According to a release from the Authority this morning, at approximately 6:15 a.m. today there was an incident at its Head Office, Farm Road, St. Joseph where gun shots were fired at an employee, close to the entrance of the compound.
It said the employee, who was injured during the incident, was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
It noted that preliminary investigations indicate the situation appears to be associated with issues outside of the workplace.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is currently conducting investigations.
