The Water and Sewerage Authority says pipeline system upgrade and interconnectivity works which has affected its customers in parts of North East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, that the work is scheduled to be completed 6pm today.
It says there was an unforeseen delay in the works which were scheduled to be completed at midnight on Sunday.
In a media release WASA says customers are advised that it may take up to twenty hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
A says a limited truck-borne water service will be available with priority given to special homes and health care institutions.
The utility says areas affected include Sangre Grande, Coalmine, Guaico, Manzanilla, La Horquetta, Omeara, Malabar, San Raphael and Greenvale.
