Former Minister of Works and Transport Jack Warner said that PH drivers are here to stay.
He said that is why, during his tenure, he sought to regularize PH drivers so that it would be easy to keep track of them.
He said if this was done before we would be in a better position now.
Warners comments follows calls for the banning of PH taxis, in light of the murder of teenager Ashanti Riley, who was killed after boarding a PH taxi in San Juan last week.
