Wanted Man Goes to Prison to Get ‘Peace and Quiet’

A British man who was wanted by the police handed himself in to the authorities, so he didn’t have to spend any more time at home with the people he lives with.

Officers said that the man who was wanted for prison recall, handed himself in to Burgess Hill police station as he wanted some “peace and quiet”.

Inspector Darren Taylor said on Twitter, “Peace and quiet! Wanted male handed himself in to the team yesterday afternoon after informing us he would rather go back to prison than have to spend more time with the people he was living with!”

“One in custody and heading back to prison to serve some further time on his own.”

It was not revealed that the man was wanted in connection with.

In other peculiar police news, two men were jailed after a jet ski they used to smuggle £200,000 worth of cocaine ran out of fuel.

The two men took the jet ski from Lowestoft, Suffolk to a pick-up point in the Netherlands to collect the cocaine.

On the way back though, the jet ski ran out of fuel.
