T&T’s star javelin athlete Keshorn Walcott had to settle for a silver medal at the Kuortane Games in Finland, on Saturday.
Walcott’s spear hit the ground at 86.64 metres, just shy of the gold medal effort of 86.69m, which was thrown by Neeraj Chopra of India.
The bronze medal went to Anderson Peters of Grenada, who had a worthy throw of 84.75m.
