Waithe says George Floyd verdict shows need for accountability for officers around the world

Fixin T&T founder Kirk Waithe said the main lesson in the Derek Chauvin murder of George Floyd is “accountability.”

In a brief whatsapp response to izzsomedia today, Waithe said Tuesday’s guilty verdict for Chauvin – a white cop who kneeled on the neck of a black man – George Floyd – showed the need for accountability for police around the world, and “that is all we want here in Trinidad and Tobago as well.”
