Opposition Senator Wade Mark has offered an explanation for Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s loss of confidence in Former Police Commissioner Gary Griffith.
He made the revelation during a media conference hosted by the UNC on Sunday.
Senator Mark also referred to another major reason he felt could have contributed to the Prime Minister’s loss of confidence.
He said the Opposition is presently waiting and observing to see whether Police Head DCP McDonald Jacob would continue the investigations initiated by Griffith.
He stated that it is of grave concern that democracy and the separation of powers are under threat.
