Full virtual hearings in the local judiciary will be further enhanced by the use of case presentations software according to Court Executive Administrator, Master Christie Anne Morris-Alleyne.
Speaking at the opening of the new law term Tuesday, Master Morris Alleyne, said the Covid-19 pandemic brought into the justice system the use of innovation and solutions that were rolled out such as payments being made electronically, documents filed online, better communication systems and documents transmission.
Master Morris Alleyne said many attorneys have given positive feedback from the use of virtual hearings.
Master Morris Alleyne said the virtual hearings have also allowed both lawyers and the public to fill documents and make payments without concerns about the closing time of court offices or travelling to specific locations.
