Professor in Veterinary Virology Chris Oura says that the Omicron Variant of the Covid 19 Virus still has the chance to mutate and change so it’s really critical that focus continues to be placed on it.
He insists that the Omicron Variant is still alive and kicking.
To this end he says it’s important that the variant is observed closely what happens with future mutations before any announcement could be made that we are Covid free.
The Virologist was sharing his view on the continued presence of Covid 19 while speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this morning.
