Veteran cameraman, ‘Hero’, has died

One of T&T’s veteran news cameramen, Ramdeo ‘Hero’ Heeralal passed away this morning, Tuesday June 22nd, 20201.

Heeralal was well known in the media as ‘HERO’ and can be seen on every major news/current affairs and crime scene assignment.

‘Hero’ was known as a ‘stringer”, providing news stories to many media houses.

He was also a father of two – however he quit the media several years ago after a fire gutted his Cunupia home killing one of his adult daughters.

There has been no official word on his cause of death, however unconfirmed reports state he died from ‘natural causes’.
