Jazz Vocalist, musical band Leader, Vaughnette Bigford has tested positive for COVID-19.
The songstress made the revelation on her Facebook page this morning, adding that she began feeling tired, and woke up with her throat scratching.
Bigford said on her final rehearsal day she decided to take a PCR as a precaution.
She said her results came back positive today.
Bigdord wrote, “I’m so thankful that my mind led me to do this because I’m not experiencing any of the normal symptoms and as such I could have gone on to have the rehersal and event and infect the folks who would have possible come into contact with me today and on Saturday.”
The Jazz singer also informed her fans that she has postponed her latest show carded for Saturday December 4th at the Naparima Bowl.
