US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, praises PM Dr. Keith Rowley for advocacy for vaccines for CARICOM and Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, came in for high praise from United States Charge d’Affaires Shante Moore, for his engagement and consistent work with high level US officials in relation to acquiring Covid-19 vaccines, not only for Trinidad and Tobago but for all members of Caricom. The US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, Charge d’ Affaires, Shante Moore was speaking on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show this morning.

Mr. Moore also took time to highlight the good work Dr. Rowley as Caricom Chair has done by engaging the United States Government and Congress to advocate for vaccine equity globally.

United States President Joe Biden recently announced that the US will be donating 60 Million doses of Astra Zeneca and 20 Million doses of Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to other countries in the month of June. Mr. Moore also spoke of the continued cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States during the pandemic.
