Upon request members of the TTPS are mandated to show their ID badges

Under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, members of the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service are mandated to show their new badges upon request by the general public; this in the event of a major crisis or when dealing with citizens while on the field.

IzzSo spoke with Public Information Officer Superintendent, Wayne Mystar this evening on the badges being now available for TTPS personnel, this after it was revealed by the Commissioner on Friday; during a live media briefing on a review of his performance and the TTPS over the last year.

Superintendent Mystar said “the intention of the badge is to raise the level of professionalism within the TTPS” under the CoP’s guidance.
