Zubida Mohammed, 81, was found dead this morning.
According to reports Mohammed was found in the bathroom of her home after a fire rampaged throughout her Prescott Lane house in Tunapuna.
Residents said they heard a loud noise before seeing flames.
A gas cylinder reportedly may have caused the fire.
