After battering the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas over the weekend, Hurricane Dorian is expected to shift its focus to Florida.
On Friday, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas issued a State of Emergency for the coastal States. Since then, Dorian has been upgraded to a Category 5 Hurricane after wreaking havoc on northern Bahamas. The storm is said to be “looming just a few hundred miles off the coast of Florida”. Dorian’s path has changed and evolved over the weekend and it appears to be growing in strength with winds reaching as high as 185mph.
