The body of Anisa “Smally” Lewis, the hiker who was swept away by water in Diego Martin on Friday has been found.
Her body was spotted by Coast Guard officers, floating in the Gulf of Paria near the yacht club in Carenage around 7am this morning.
Lewis was swept away by water on Friday afternoon while trying to exit a spring in the hills of Bagatelle in Diego Martin.
The body was positively identified by one of Lewis’ close relatives.
