UNIPET’s CEO Dexter Riley does not believe the Government should change its decision to increase gas prices.
He said that the Government would be hard pressed financially to do so.
Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this morning, he said that we are facing difficult times and we all have to share the burden.
He says they recognise that consumers are facing the burden of increasing prices so they agree that a particular approach is necessary.
He said to this end the fact that the Gov’t did not remove the subsidy completely was a good move that provided a balance in sharing economic fallout more equitably.
