An accident in Valsayn on Saturday night has claimed the life of a man.
The victim, who is yet to be identified, was struck by a vehicle heading east along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of the Cipriani Labour College, Valsayn.
The incident took place just before 8p.m. as the man was attempting to cross the highway.
Police said he had been thrown several feet from the point of impact and died instantly.
The driver was questioned and police are continuing with their investigations.
