A man was found with several stab wounds in east Port of Spain on Monday afternoon.
Port of Spain police are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.
According to reports, the man was found lying in a drain at the corner of Observatory Street and Siparia Hill with several stab wounds.
He was discovered by a woman, who was on her way home.
She reported to police that the man was still breathing when she found him and she immediately called a taxi, which took him to the Port of Spain General Hospital.
The man underwent emergency surgery, but died shortly after.
The man was of African descent, appeared to be in his late twenties/early thirties and was about six feet tall.
