Son of the soil and President of the United Nations General Assembly, His Excellency Dennis Francis, will pay an Official Visit to Trinidad and Tobago from August 4th to 7th, 2024.
Francis, was elected President of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on 1st June, 2023.
He was Trinidad and Tobago’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York, at the time of his election.
Activities planned for the Official Visit include: courtesy calls on His Excellency Nigel de Freitas, Acting President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; a meeting with Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs; and a visit to Woodbrook Secondary School, the Alma Mater of His Excellency Dennis Francis. Additionally, an Official Reception will be hosted by Minister Browne in honour of His Excellency.
His Excellency Dennis Francis will depart Trinidad and Tobago on 7th August, 2024.
