The Youth Arm of the United National Congress is calling on citizens to assist with bringing home persons who have gone missing.
In a release to media this morning, the Youth Arm said “we must stand up and demand justice.”
UNC Youth Arm believes that crime has escalated and T&T is now faced with a crisis and persons can assist by reposting social media information and share details with police.
The Youth Arm said government must act fast in their approach to this crisis, as it is one that needs to be attended to with immediate urgency.
They said what is most alarming is “clearly this is an attack on our young people, in particular our women.
“A call is being made by the UNC Youth arm to be vigilant as one goes about their daily activities.
They said “any government that cannot protect its people has failed and it is most evident that the PNM government has failed us all.”
