UNC Women’s Arm stage march for protection of women and children in Arima

The Women’s Arm of the United National Congress joined forces with the Arima and D’Abadie/Omeara Constituency Executives to stage a march Saturday morning.

The protest, themed ‘Protect Our Women and Children,’ was against a number of issues, including crimes against our nation’s children, violence against women, no pepper spray and the increasing crime rate today.

The protest began at Herde’s Park and proceeded to the Arima Market.
