UNC tells the population strike against hike in gas prices

The United National Congress is urging the population to let their voices be heard against the latest hike in gas prices announced by the Minister of Finance Colm Imbert.
Opposition MP Kadisha Ameen insists the move will add to frustration and stress already being experienced by the population.
She said the exorbitant cost of living along with unemployment only adds to the pressures being experienced by many today.
The St Augustine MP said the latest pain inflicted on the people is the impending increase in as pieces.
She noted the money spent to fill vehicles with gas in 2015 will on April 19 this year fill ess than half tank.
She said that’s why the opposition is encouraging persons to stand up and speak out against this latest increase in gas prices.
