UNC joins business Chamber’s call for 12 midnight – 5am curfew

The Opposition United National Congress is joining a call by one business Chamber for the present curfew to be adjusted.
They maintain this will give sectors of the economy that are now open a better chance to gain more revenue and prevent more job losses.
At the UNC’s media conference yesterday Opposition Senator Damian Lyder said they are calling for a midnight to 5am curfew.
He says the present curfew of 9pm – 5am is hurting the manufacturing and retail sectors and small businesses in particular.
