UNC LOCAL government councillor, Samuel Sankar, has denied crossing the floor to the People’s National Movement (PNM).
Sankar, the councillor for Kelly Village/Warrenville, said yesterday he remained a member of the United National Congress (UNC) and a UNC local government councillor.
He described reports that he had crossed the floor to the PNM as “erroneous”.
Sankar said he attended the PNM’s meeting in Chaguanas on Tuesday night as he saw an opportunity to speak the Prime Minister and get answers about his on behalf on his burgesses regarding plans for his area.
