Ukraine Claims War Crime Figures By Russian Troops At 34,000

Officials in Ukraine now put the number of documented war crimes committed by Russian troops at 34,000 since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in late February.

In late May, it was 14,000.

By July it had gone up to 23,000.

Following requests from some 41 states, the International Criminal Court opened an investigation into atrocities committed during the war.

Numerous countries also opened their own investigations into war crimes perpetrated in Ukraine.
