UDeCOTT records another case of COVID, several departments in quarantine

An employee of the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT) has reportedly tested positive for Covid19 and now two senior officials at the company are in quarantine as a result.

Reports are the employee tested positive last Friday and the officials began their quarantine at their homes on Monday.

UDeCOTT’s CEO, Tamica Charles-Phillips, in a statement to Express, said this is their fifth positive Covid case.

The CEO said “In addition to implementing the work-from-home roster, Covid sanitisation protocols were also actioned on the weekends, commencing April 10 and April 17, respectively, to ensure the health and safety of all employees at the Sackville and Richmond Street offices.”

The report also stated that UDeCOTT”s legal, administration and procurement departments are also in quarantine.
