U.S to donate 6M vaccines to Latin American and the Caribbean

The United States President, Joe Biden has said that while they continue to work out the logistics around sending vaccines to Latin America and the Caribbean, his administration had committed to send 6 million vaccines to the region.

In a release issued this afternoon by the US Embassy to T&T, Charge’ d’Affaires, Shante Moore noted that vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer will be issued as part of the donation.

There has been indication as to what brand of vaccines Trinidad and Tobago will receive.
