U.S. Donates Face Masks and Shields to the T&T Prisons

In continued partnership with the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, the United States Government has donated 1,000 KN-95 facemasks and 1,000 face shields to the Trinidad and Tobago Prisons Service.

A release from the Embassy said Ambassador Joseph Mondello presented the items to the Commissioner of Prisons Dennis Pulchan at the Marli Street Embassy on October 13.

They both acknowledged the challenges the Prisons Service is facing during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Ambassador Mondello emphasizing, “As we’ve stated repeatedly in our coordination to confront the pandemic, we must all do our part. We’re honored to continue assisting the government and people of Trinidad and Tobago in their efforts.”
